Rudine
Begin with the village nearest the cave. Its stone architecture connects the underground visit to the island’s rural life. Walk quietly and respect homes: this is a village, not a visitor set.

Begin with the village nearest the cave. Its stone architecture connects the underground visit to the island’s rural life. Walk quietly and respect homes: this is a village, not a visitor set.
An educational trail connects the cave area with the cove. The operator describes a roughly 30-minute walk with five information panels. Check the route locally and allow extra time for the return; wear suitable shoes and carry water.
Continue towards the villages around Soline Bay for a coastal change of pace. Choose a waterfront stop around Čižići, Soline or Klimno according to the weather and your onward route.
Add the inland village of Dobrinj if you want the day to lean towards island culture and village streets. Give it its own stop rather than treating it as a quick drive-through.
Above the surface
Keep the outing compact: visit Biserujka, then take an unhurried walk through Rudine. A good option when you want one clear experience rather than a full island itinerary.
Visit the cave, then follow the educational trail towards Slivanjska Cove if conditions suit. Carry water, allow for the uphill return and check the sea conditions before making swimming plans.
Experienced walkers can consult the official 17 km Omišalj–Biserujka route. It is a separate hiking outing, not the short educational trail. Check the route description, daylight, heat and your fitness before setting out.
